Shruti Hassan and Maddy to act together

Rumors are abuzz in the Tamil Cinema Industry that R. Madhavan is going to pair with Shruti Hassan, daughter of the ledgendry Kamal Hassan.

When contacted actor Madhavan has denied the rumours about him being paired with Shruti in a film to be directed by Nishikant Kamath. He says he is not sure where these stories come from. It was just an idea that both himself and director Nishikant got while discussing about the story. Beyond that everything else being written is fictional, he says.

Both Kamal and Madhavan are known to be good friends and Maddy feels that it would be a honour to launch his friend’s daughter, but at the moment they aren’t considering the idea seriously. Shruthi is concentrating on her singing career currently.
